They are opportunities that we feel are unique to Tufts. Every student will be introduced to these topics through their courses, but then there are ways to get even more involved if a student develops an interest

for example, every student takes a first year course on International Vet Medicine, but maybe 4-6 students in each year will then build off that and attempt to earn their International Vet Med certificate
