I sense that some people are out of reach / like the anti-vaccine movement. They are so convinced and cannot be reached with facts and figures. Instead, we have to ensure to speak not only in logic terms, but also emotional terms. And to address the concerns that people have in a respectful way. Not run them over with information only

Are there health communication tools out there that we can adapt/integrate into ABE classrooms that help learners recognize bias/discriminatory language in health messaging in multilingual communities? I heard from ESL teachers (in Chinatown, SF) whose learners wanted to learn expressions in English to be able to counter discrimination.
