Tisch College Distinguished Speaker Series: Problem Solvers Caucus
Join Tisch College for a conversation with members of the Problem Solvers Caucus, including Congressman Josh Gottheimer (D-NJ5). Created in 2017, the Problem Solvers Caucus is an independent member-driven group in Congress, comprised of representatives from across the country – and equally divided between Democrats and Republicans – committed to finding common ground on many of the key issues facing the country. The Caucus’ aim is to create a durable bloc that champions ideas that appeal to a broad spectrum of the American people and to work through political gridlock to find commonsense solutions to the toughest challenges. The Caucus is currently working to find bipartisan solutions on issues including coronavirus recovery, infrastructure, heath care, immigration, criminal justice reform, and gun and school safety. Rep. Josh Gottheimer was elected to Congress in 2016 and serves on the House Financial Services Committee, where he works on three subcommittees: National Security, Capital Markets, and Diversity and Inclusion.

This event is sponsored by Tisch College, the Political Science Department, Tufts ACTION and CIVIC.
