Parent and Family Welcome to Tufts Orientation for New Students
In this session the Orientation Team and the Office of Student Affairs will welcome the parents and families of new Tufts students. We will review our summer communications plans for parents as well as share what students are responsible for during the summer, such as completing the New Student Checklist. This session is open to parents and guardians of all new students, including transfer students.

Joseph Golia
Director of Campus Life and Undergraduate Orientation Committee Chair @Tufts University
Joseph Golia serves as the Director of Campus Life and has been at Tufts for thirteen years. Joe leads our New Student Orientation Team and is responsible for undergraduate orientation and pre-orientation programming. As the Director of Campus Life Joe also supervises the full Campus Life team who have oversight over the entire student organization system, consisting of over 300 active student organizations. Joe directly advises the TCU (Tufts Community Union) Student Government as well as oversees all operations in the Mayer Campus Center.
Camille Lizarríbar, JD, PhD
Dean of Student Affairs and Chief Student Affairs Officer for AS&E @Tufts University
As the Dean of Student Affairs and Chief Student Affairs Officer, Camille Lizarríbar leads initiatives and departments that support students in the School of Arts and Sciences, School of Engineering, the School for the Museum of Fine Arts.
Robin Olinsky
Advising Dean, School of Arts and Sciences @Tufts University
Dean Olinsky serves as advisor for students in the combined-degree programs with the New England Conservatory and School of the Museum of Fine Arts. Dean Olinsky also advises students participating in domestic exchange programs.
