2021 Tufts Presidential Symposium on Community Partnerships: Centering Racial Justice During the Pandemic and Beyond
The Presidential Symposium is an annual signature event that brings the university together with community partners. We learn from each other, share ideas, and build new partnerships and collaborations.

This year’s virtual program will focus on how the university and local partners are working toward racial justice and fostering caring communities. The Honorable Maura Healey, Attorney General of Massachusetts, will deliver a keynote address followed by two panelists: Ben Hires, CEO of the Boston Chinatown Neighborhood Center, and Elebetel Assefa, a Tufts junior and Tisch Scholar. In addition to the formal presentations, virtual breakout groups on more than a dozen different topics led by community partners, faculty, staff, and students will provide ample opportunities to delve deeper into the conversation.

Please register in advance, by Tuesday April 13, as this ensures that everyone is assigned to their chosen breakout room. You can choose your top two choices from the list and you will be placed in either one of these choices.
